Fresh Sugar Rosé Tinted Lip Treatment Sunscreen SPF15

Throughout my journey of trying out various lip balm/treatment/moisturizer, it is safe to say that I have finally found my Holy Grail.

During one of my old purchases of Fresh products, I was given a sample of their Sugar Rosé Lip Treatment. I always love samples, it’s like mini gifts as a reward for being a loyal customer and also allow me to try out different products. But I digress.

On the Fresh website, this lip product identifies itself as an ultra-nourishing tinted lip treatment that moisturizes, protects, and smoothes the lips while leaving a rosy tint. It claims to have been proven to provide 6 hours of significant moisture for soft, supple lips.

I hardly ever had a product of any kind that made me go wide-eyed with amazement. This one did it for me. I have the unfortunate situation of often having dry lips. This lip balm has delivered their promises. Most lip balms that I have tried usually just get plastered on but I do not feel them adding any benefits to my lips. They just leave this oily filament on my cracked lips that don’t get absorbed into. After application of Fresh Sugar Rose, my lips just soak up all the loving goodness and is immediately moist and supple.

As above is the before and after results. I’ll admit the pictures don’t do it justice (or perhaps my camera sucks, who knows) but I finished the sample really quickly and wasted no time in buying the full-size product.

I used it regularly before bed and about 5 minutes before I apply on any lipstick. I find that the color stays on a little bit better. It also makes it more comfortable when I put on a matte lipstick. It did say that it gives off a rosy tint that is buildable but I don’t find the color shows on me. Perhaps it’s the natural color of my lips.

The only setback, however, is that the lip balm costs SGD 36. That is indeed very pricey. It’s not something you can gloss over the rack and just picked it up because you feel like it. But is it worth it? Yes, it is, 100%. At least in my own humble opinion. I did get the full-size on at the airport where it’s tax-free so I did get it cheaper.

So decide on your own if you must but Fresh Fresh Sugar Rosé Tinted Lip Treatment gets a nod from Eyeliner Girl.
